A Central Criminal Court jury had not reached a verdict on the count against Keith Johnston. The proceedings were reported on 26 February 2020.

Johnston was charged with impeding the apprehension or prosecution of Kieran Greene, knowing or believing him to have murdered Patricia O’Connor on 29 May 2017. Johnston pleaded not guilty to assisting Greene in the purchase of implements at Woodie’s, Mr Price, B&Q and Shoe Zone in Tallaght on 9 June 2017, which were to be used to conceal Patricia O’Connor’s remains.

After the jury reached a verdict on another count, Mr Justice Paul McDermott asked it to return on Thursday morning at 10.30am to resume deliberations on the two remaining counts.
