Jason Patrick Buckley ordered surrendered over explosion conspiracy

Jason Patrick Buckley was ordered surrendered to the United Kingdom over a conspiracy to cause explosions at the High Court on 28 May 2014. The warrant sought his prosecution for that offence, and he did not consent to surrender. He argued that evidence rules in the UK could undermine his trial rights.
Mr Justice Edwards rejected those objections, finding that the evidence did not establish a breach of his constitutional or Convention rights. The High Court therefore made an order under the European Arrest Warrant Act directing his surrender to an authorised person from the issuing state.
