James Wauchope receives suspended sentence for VAT offences

James Wauchope, 75, pleaded guilty to six sample counts of failing to remit VAT and VAT returns at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

He received a fully suspended three-and-a-half-year sentence and was ordered to repay €65,000 to Revenue within a year.
