Hayleigh Hernon’s employment complaints against Prada were heard at the Workplace Relations Commission, reported on 19 July 2022.
Hernon said the Kildare Village store had promised to move her to part-time hours for her teaching placement, but later declined to change her contract.
Her complaints cited the Unfair Dismissals Act, Payment of Wages Act, Organisation of Working Time Act and Terms of Employment (Information) Act. No Prada representative attended, and adjudicating officer Pat Brady said he expected to issue a decision within three to four weeks.
