Graham Rosarius received 240 hours of community service for assault causing harm at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. He pleaded guilty to assault causing harm to Samson Samuel on 15 September 2021 at Finglas Road, Glasnevin. The proceedings were reported on 25 June 2024. Judge Dara Hayes said the appropriate sentence was two and a half years, but imposed community service because Rosarius had made significant progress in rehabilitation and was at low risk of reoffending. The service must be completed within two years. A second count alleging production of the tyre iron during a dispute was taken into consideration. The report said Rosarius had been addicted to crack cocaine and heroin at the time, had taken methadone that morning and later brought €3,000 in compensation. Samuel suffered three facial fractures, including to his eye socket and nose.
