This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Gerald and Olivia Dorian were granted an interim flower-bed injunction by Ms Justice Caroline Costello in the High Court. The order was made on an ex-parte basis, with only one party represented. The proceedings were reported on 15 March 2018.

The dispute concerns a plot outside the front wall of Ivy Cottage in Blackrock, Co Louth, which the Dorians say is part of their property. The injunction prevents their neighbour Ruth Black from interfering with flower beds on land measuring 45cm wide and nine metres long.

The case was adjourned to the following week. The judge, who expressed concern about legal costs, agreed with counsel that the matter should be remitted to the Circuit Court at the earliest opportunity.
