A gay man’s judicial review challenge to the refusal of refugee status was dismissed by the High Court, reported on 5 April 2022.
Mr Justice Anthony Barr found the man had brought his challenge more than 50 days outside the legal time limit. The court refused to extend time and also rejected his claims that the tribunal’s decision was irrational or breached fair procedures.
