The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors’ High Court dispute over Garda rostering advanced on 18 July 2023 when Commissioner Drew Harris agreed to end the emergency Covid-19 roster and return to the Westmanstown Roster.

The emergency arrangement was to be discontinued from November, with the previous roster due to start on 6 November. It required Gardaí to work 10-hour shifts for six days followed by four days off.

AGSI had sought the return to the original roster in its High Court action.
