FAI wins legal privilege ruling in ODCE probe

The FAI won a High Court ruling on legal privilege in the ODCE investigation, reported on 30 July 2019.

Justice Leonie Reynolds ruled that 14 passages in 16 documents contained privileged material and ordered them redacted from the probe.

The documents included FAI and Deloitte Ireland LLP material covering board and committee minutes from January 2016 to March 2019.

The judge found that some sections of two other documents were not protected by legal privilege.
