By Eimear Cotter, Irish Independent

An alleged dangerous driver accused of seriously injuring another woman has been sent forward for trial.

Angela Aghimian (49) was served with the book of evidence when she appeared on bail before Balbriggan District Court.

The accused, with an address at Black Raven Court in Lusk, Co Dublin, is charged with dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to a woman at the R127 Lusk on November 8, 2025.

Ms Aghimian is also charged with driving without insurance or a licence at the same time and place.

A state solicitor said the book of evidence was ready and had been served on the accused, who goes forward to the next sittings of Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Judge Stephanie Coggans gave Ms Aghimian the formal alibi warning.

The judge also assigned defence solicitor Fiona D’Arcy and one junior counsel on free legal aid.

A video copy of an interview that gardaí conducted with the accused must be handed over to her lawyer, the court ordered.

Ms Aghimian has not yet indicated a plea to the charges.
