Desmond Smith charged with knowingly assisting the IRA

Desmond Smith, 63, of Co Cavan, was charged with knowingly assisting the IRA at the Special Criminal Court.

He was remanded in custody with consent to bail until 13 March; the appearance was reported on 14 February 2023.
