Denis Cremins had a High Court injunction continued on 18 May 2021, preventing him interfering with wind farm high-voltage cables. The cables were buried beside his land at Keal, Athea, Co Limerick.
Mr Cremins, who represented himself, agreed the order could remain pending trial or a resolution between the parties. He asked for fencing or a permanent security presence, while Dromada Windfarm said its engineers considered the cables safe unless someone used a digger to interfere with them.
Mr Justice Senan Allen said the cables could only be dug up with a court order unless the dispute was resolved beforehand. He continued the injunction and allowed either side to return to court if necessary.
