Daniel Kinahan given October deadline in CAB property case
This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.
Daniel Kinahan has until October to challenge the Criminal Assets Bureau’s bid to seize a Dublin house, the High Court was told on 19 July 2022. The bureau said it had tried to serve legal papers at business and home addresses linked to him in Dubai but had no confirmation he received them.
If Kinahan does not respond, CAB will ask for the property to be seized at a High Court hearing on 3 October. CAB said the house in Saggart had been under the control of the Kinahan organised crime group and that it had served papers on Thomas Kavanagh; Jim Mansfield Jnr and Patrick Joseph Mansfield had consented to waive any claim over the property.
