Three men have armed robbery sentences reduced on appeal

Edgaras Jurosiuniuys, 24, Liutauras Meskauskas, 27, and Andrius Bareikis, 33, admitted armed robbery offences at Carlow Circuit Criminal Court.

The Criminal Court of Appeal reduced their sentences: Jurosiuniuys’s terms now run concurrently, and one year was cut from each of the other men’s seven-year terms.

The case was recorded in July 2014.
