This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Bernard Daly pleaded not guilty to charges of concealing bank accounts from the Revenue Commissioners at the Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 14 July 2015. The allegations concern references to accounts linked to former Anglo Irish Bank chairman Sean FitzPatrick and offences allegedly committed in 2003 and 2004.

The trial heard evidence that an IT login was used to change the address on an account belonging to FitzPatrick’s brother-in-law, John Peter O’Toole. The court also heard that Daly did not use a computer, while the prosecution case was expected to finish the following Monday; the trial then adjourned for the day.
