An Bord Pleanála was granted leave by the High Court to appeal the quashing of a wind-farm permission on 26 October 2021.
The proposed 24-turbine development is at Mountdillon Peat Production Bog near Lanesborough, County Longford.
Mr Justice Richard Humphreys had quashed the permission after upholding Peter Sweetman’s challenge that the application lacked sufficient design detail.
The judge allowed an appeal to the Court of Appeal and said the issues might instead suit a direct appeal to the Supreme Court.
Peter Sweetman was given an opportunity to consider a cross-appeal before the leave order was perfected.
