Adam Roche was jailed for 10 and a half years, with the final 18 months suspended, for rape and sexual assault at the Central Criminal Court on 13 November 2023.

Roche pleaded guilty to rape, anal rape, oral rape, sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault committed between August 2015 and January 2018. He used fictional online identities to threaten a young woman he knew, coercing her into sexual acts.
