58-year-old man’s rape sentence appeal partly allowed

An unnamed 58-year-old man, convicted of rape and attempted rape, appealed his sentence structure at the Court of Appeal.

The court quashed the original structure and resentenced him, suspending the unserved balance of his nine-year sentence for one year.
