Outcome: Mr Justice Tony Hunt at the three-judge Special Criminal Court sentenced Catherine Dawson (44) to three years and nine months in prison but fully suspended the term for five years. Considering all the factors, Mr Justice Hunt said she had "just about" qualified for a non-custodial sentence and added: "She had better devote herself to that 14-year-old boy because otherwise she will be on her way through that door." After passing the sentence of three years and nine months suspended for five years, he said: "She had better take that chance, if she is back here for any reason of substance the sentence will be activated."
