Witness Appeal – Serious Injury Road Traffic Collision, Bodyke, Co. Clare, 23rd August, 2026

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision on the R352 at Bodyke, Co. Clare on 23 August 2026. The incident occurred at around 11:40pm when a single-vehicle collision took place. The sole occupant, a man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was hospitalised in a critical condition. The scene remains closed for forensic examination. Gardaí are seeking anyone who witnessed the collision or has camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the area between 11:00pm and midnight on 23 August 2026.
