Office and storage converted to two 1-bed apartments, rear extension added, front elevation altered
Conditional retention and planning permission granted on 29 April 2026
Daniel Bolos-Ciocan has converted the upper two floors of a building on Church Street in Athlone from office and storage space into two one-bedroom apartments. The work also included a rear extension on the first floor, changes to the front of the building, and internal alterations. Since the building is a protected structure, the council has now formally approved both the conversion that's already happened and a separate plan to replace the ground floor entrance door with a timber version.
