Longford Smashers aim for volleyball promotion after six years

Longford Smashers Volleyball Club, based at Sandmars Community Center in Edgeworthstown, is competing for promotion to division one for the first time in their six-year history. The club's men's team currently tops division two with one game remaining, with playoffs after Easter. The club has developed international players and welcomes people of all abilities and nationalities, particularly Polish members.
