A mother from Kingscourt, County Cavan, has returned to the High Court seeking orders to identify operators of Twitter accounts alleged to have breached an existing injunction against former journalist Gemma O'Doherty. Edel Campbell is seeking disclosure of the identities and contact details associated with three accounts: @irishlightpaper, @cavandrugwatch, and @michaelmg3. Ms Campbell claims the accounts have published statements in violation of a High Court injunction granted last month. The injunction restrains Ms O'Doherty from harassing Ms Campbell and from publishing images of Ms Campbell and her late son without consent. Ms Campbell alleges Ms O'Doherty unlawfully used her son's photograph in an article linking unexplained deaths to Covid-19 vaccination. Twitter declined to provide account holder information without a court order. Mr Justice Brian O'Moore granted permission to serve short notice on Twitter and Ms O'Doherty. The matter is scheduled to return before the High Court later in July.
