Keane Mulready-Woods murder accused to stand trial at non-jury court

Two men charged with the murder of a teenager in County Louth will stand trial at the Special Criminal Court, a non-jury venue, following an application by the Director of Public Prosecutions. Paul Crosby, aged 25, of Rathmullan Park, Drogheda, and Gerard Cruise, aged 47, with addresses in Dublin and Drogheda, are both charged with murdering a 17-year-old at a house in Rathmullan Park between 12 and 13 January 2020. Mr Crosby is in custody while Mr Cruise is on bail. Both men are required to appear before the court on 18 June. The application to transfer the case to the Special Criminal Court was granted by Mr Justice Tony Hunt. No trial date has been set. The teenager was last seen alive on 12 January 2020, with human remains subsequently discovered at multiple locations in Dublin and Louth over the following months.
