The jury at the Central Criminal Court has adjourned deliberations in the trial of Przemyslaw Trebacz, a 35-year-old Polish national accused of murdering Costel Catalin Cretu, a 38-year-old Romanian man, in Co. Cavan in October 2012. Trebacz, of Bramble Rise, Killynebber, has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge relating to the incident at Connolly Court, Connolly Street, Cavan on October 13 to 14, 2012. He has pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a door at the same location on October 13, 2012. The jury spent approximately five hours examining the evidence before retiring for the evening and will resume consideration of its verdict tomorrow.
