Outcome: Paul Boyle (45), who photographed and recorded young children and women "on an industrial scale", was today jailed for five and a half years for harassment and possession of the child abuse material. 40,000 intimate images of women and girls including their legs, groins and buttocks, along with "up-skirt" photos of school girls, were found on Paul Boyle's mobile phone when an off-duty garda spotted him acting suspiciously on a Luas carriage. He sentenced Boyle to three years imprisonment for the harassment.
