Ex-soldier gets suspended sentence for having 'extreme' child abuse material

Summary

Adrian Short, 45, of Corbetstown, Killucan, was given a 16‑month suspended sentence for possessing seven images and 14 videos of child pornography, including extreme content involving children as young as two years old. The videos showed sexual intercourse between children and adults. Judge Melanie Greally noted that no other material was found on Short's devices and that he had been fully forthright, cooperative and had voluntarily attended a Garda interview.
