A woman from Kingscourt, County Cavan, has secured court orders requiring Twitter to disclose the identities of operators behind two accounts allegedly in breach of an injunction. At the High Court on Tuesday, Edel Campbell's legal team obtained disclosure orders relating to accounts @cavandrugwatch and @michaelmg3. Ms Campbell is suing former journalist Gemma O'Doherty over the unauthorised publication of her late son's image on media controlled by the defendant. The court heard that Ms O'Doherty's legal representatives confirmed she controls the @irishlightpaper account but denies involvement with the other two accounts and rejects all allegations against her. Justice Brian O'Moore granted the disclosure orders in light of Twitter's stated position. Ms Campbell previously secured an injunction restraining Ms O'Doherty from harassing her or publishing images of herself and her late son. The injunction remains in place pending the final outcome of the action.
