Summary

A foster mother testified that a young boy, who had been abused by his father and forced to have sex with his mother, left her foster home because she believed he required more specialist care for his sexualised behaviour. She said the boy had been raped by his father, sexually abused with a hot poker, forced to have sex with his mother, and that the father had filmed some incidents and shown them to others. The father and mother face 82 abuse charges between 2007 and 2011, and both have pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of sexual exploitation, child cruelty, sexual assault and anal rape. The foster mother described the boy's behaviour, including attempts to touch her and his fear of his father, and noted that he was never allowed to be alone with younger children again. The trial is before Mr Justice Robert Eagar and a jury.
