New trial date set for former Anglo executive after conviction quashed
Summary
In 2015, former Anglo Irish Bank Chief Operations Officer Tiarnan O'Mahoney was convicted by a Dublin Circuit Criminal Court jury of conspiring to conceal or alter bank accounts sought by Revenue. He was jailed for three years. The Court of Appeal quashed the conviction and ordered a retrial.
