Donegal man to stand trial accused of murdering his parents
Summary
A 43-year-old man from Carndonagh in County Donegal has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court on charges of murdering his parents. Julian Cuddihy of Churchtown faces two counts of murder in relation to the deaths of his father, aged 77, and his mother, aged 73, at their home in Carndonagh on or around 22 October 2014. Mr Justice Patrick McCarthy fixed the trial date for 7 June 2016. Cuddihy remains in custody pending trial.
