Driver fined for pulling out in front of e-scooter

Summary

A 48-year-old man, Edward Colclough, was fined €700 for careless driving after pulling out in front of an e-scooter rider in Dublin 4 on March 19, 2024. However, Judge Watkin rejected this, stating that Colclough should have ensured the road was clear before proceeding.
