Summary

In a Tallaght District Court hearing on 9 July 2025, 36‑year‑old Danielle Kavanagh pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and a licence, and to the theft of makeup from Dunnes Stores. The court noted that on 25 August 2024 Garda Shane Whelan stopped Kavanagh on Cloonmore Drive while she was visibly distressed and engaged in a loud phone argument.
