Summary
Clyde Keogh, 29, formerly of Pembroke Road, Dublin 2, was sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for assault causing harm. He pleaded guilty to assaulting a man with a claw hammer at a school in South County Dublin on September 22, 2023. She handed down a two-and-a-half year sentence, suspending the final year on strict conditions. Consequently, Keogh will serve 18 months in custody. His defence counsel stated he is currently working in construction in Cork and has adhered to bail conditions. Keogh's partner was present in court and wept as he was led away to begin his incarceration.
