Summary

Stephen Hendrick, 47, of Balbutcher Drive, Ballymun, pleaded guilty in April 2015 to possessing 59 rounds of ammunition at Furry Park, Turnapin Great, Old Airport Road, Cloghran. He had previously been granted bail by the Special Criminal Court, but while on bail committed the offence for which he pleaded guilty. He applied for five days' temporary bail to spend Christmas with his family, but the State objected. Mr Justice Paul Butler, with Judges John O'Hagan and Ann Ryan, refused the application, citing the risk of disrepute. Hendrick will be sentenced on 12 February 2016.
