UK golf equipment conman is jailed

Summary

Harpreet Gosal, aged 33, pleaded guilty in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to four counts of fraud for dishonestly inducing golf clubs to purchase equipment and then withdrawing payment instructions. A bench warrant exists for the co‑accused. Gosal was sentenced to a headline term of four years, with a custodial term of two and a half years. The court noted his 48 prior convictions in England and his parents' letter of support. The equipment was never recovered.
