Trademark dispute between rival Chinese restaurants is settled
Summary
In a High Court trademark dispute, Hitianland Limited, trading as 'Xi'an Street Food', sued IR Entertainment Limited over its planned restaurant 'Meet Xi'an' in Dublin 7. Hitianland alleged that the name and a logo with Chinese characters would infringe its registered trademark and cause confusion with its existing restaurants.
