Summary

During the murder trial of Kenneth Cummins (28) and Sabrina Cummins (37) at the Central Criminal Court, the State Pathologist, Professor Marie Therese Cassidy, presented evidence that Thomas Horan (63) died of asphyxia at his home in January 2014. She described external bruises and abrasions on Horan's face, neck, trunk, arms and legs, and noted a red, congested face and eye, indicating asphyxiation.
