TD and protest group agree to end occupation of Dublin showhouse

Hansfield Investments Ltd sought an injunction in the High Court to compel TD Ruth Coppinger and other protesters to vacate a showhouse at Barnwell Lawn, Dublin 15, which they had occupied since the previous weekend. The judge acknowledged the plight of those affected by homelessness but stated the court could only address whether the protesters asserted any right to the property. The matter was adjourned, with the judge noting it could be re-mentioned should any issues arise.
