Summary

Mairead Latimer, a 35‑year‑old financial controller from Howth, pleaded guilty to four counts of stealing over €82,000 from Chopped Limited between December 2016 and July 2018. She authorised fictitious payments to "ghost" employees, sending more than €43,000 to her father's account, and inflated her own wages by over €12,000 without director approval. She also took more than €22,000 from Chopped stores on Grafton Street and Lucan and authorised over €3,000 in increased pension payments to her own plan.
