Young mother jailed for her role in savage unprovoked attack on homeless man

Summary

Rachel Keogh, aged 24, was sentenced to one year in prison for acting as a lookout and participating in a savage unprovoked attack on an elderly homeless man. Keogh kicked the victim at least five times while her co‑accused stamped on the victim's head and chest more than ten times. The pair claimed they stopped the assault when they believed the victim was dead. The attack, recorded on CCTV, took place at the Four Courts building where the victim was sleeping rough.
