In a non‑jury hearing before the Special Criminal Court, Gareth Mulley, 45, of Aisling Park, Dundalk, pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of explosives. Forensic evidence was to be presented showing the components of the keg bomb, a device that had been used previously. The trial is ongoing.
