Jail for man who drove rental car to Norway

Summary

The car, driven across Europe for 9,000 miles, was caught speeding in Holland and later flagged as stolen by Norwegian police. He pleaded guilty to use of a false instrument between 10 and 25 November 2020. The court imposed a 12‑month sentence, suspended the final nine months, and ordered the outstanding €1,200 to be paid.
