Murder accused left Liffey Valley shopping centre in alleged change of clothing on day of fatal shooting, jury hears

Summary

The Central Criminal Court heard that Keith O'Neill, 39, pleaded not guilty to the murder of John Wilson, 35, on 28 September 2012. CCTV footage showed O'Neill entering Liffey Valley shopping centre and leaving in a change of clothing that day. Garda Alan O'Mahony presented the footage to the court. Dr. Sheila Willis explained that forensic evidence must be packed, sealed and labelled, and that a forensic scientist may refuse to handle potentially contaminated evidence.
