Outcome: By Sonya McLean A violent offender has been jailed for six years for a catalogue of abuse against his partner, which included assaulting her on seven separate occasions and threatening to kick and cut their baby out of her. Mr Justice Keane imposed consecutive sentences totally eight years, having taken into account that the man was on bail when he committed some of the offences and the fact that the offences relate to different people. "I take the view that they (the offences) fall outside the single transaction principle," he said.; She reported the incident and he was remanded in custody two days later.
