Dealer who hid heroin in Kinder Surprise eggs is jailed

Summary

Sean Mooney, 39, of Barry Park, Finglas, was sentenced to eight months in jail after pleading guilty to possession of drugs for sale or supply. On 19 January 2017, Gardaí executed a search warrant at his home and found 13 street deals of heroin and nine of crack cocaine, each wrapped in Kinder Surprise eggs. They also seized an electronic weighing scale and cash of €740 and £890. The drugs' estimated street value was €420.
