Summary

James Hogan, 39, pleaded guilty to assault causing harm after a dispute over a drink at the Concorde Pub, Coolock, on 8 August 2011. He offered €5,000 in compensation and was given a four‑year suspended sentence, with the court noting the serious impact of a single punch. The sentence was imposed by Judge Martin Nolan.
