Man pleads guilty at Special Criminal Court to murder of veteran criminal Eamon Kelly

Sean Connolly, aged 35, pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court to the murder of veteran criminal Eamon Kelly, who was killed on 4 December 2012 at Furry Park Road, Killester, Dublin. Connolly had originally faced three charges – murder, IRA membership and possession of a firearm – but the court was informed that the latter two would not proceed after his guilty plea.
