Jury begin deliberating in Graham Dwyer trial
Summary
The jury has begun deliberating in the trial of architect Graham Dwyer, charged with murdering 36‑year‑old childcare worker Elaine O'Hara in 2012. Dwyer, 42, is accused of taking O'Hara to Killakee, Rathfarnham, and stabbing her to death between 6 pm and 9 pm on 22 August 2012, hours after she was discharged from a mental‑health hospital. The State's case relies on circumstantial evidence, including text messages, a Buck Special knife found in Dwyer's office, and a bag recovered from Vartry Reservoir. Dwyer has pleaded not guilty.
