Serial burglar who sacked six legal teams is jailed for six years
Summary
Stephen Wilson, 46, of Brehon Grove, Kingston, Dublin 16, pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary committed on the early hours of 24 April 2020 at Leeson Street Lower. The offences involved a building with two top‑floor apartments and offices on the first and ground floors, occupied by The Agency and Sea Spray. Garda Kevin Cassidy received a call from a resident who heard loud banging and later found Wilson attempting to force entry into an apartment. Gardaí entered the building, found Wilson on the top floor, restrained him and arrested him. Wilson has 89 prior convictions, including burglary, trespassing with a weapon, criminal damage and public order offences. He represented himself via video link and claimed he was let into the building by three others.
